My Recent Trip to ABC Carpet and Home

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I just returned from NYC, and every time I go, I visit ABC Carpet and Home. If you’ve never been, you should definitely check it out. Every one of the seven floors is chock full of fabulous home furnishings and the vignettes (shown in the photos) help clients and designers imagine living with the stuff. It makes me happy … very happy. The vignettes are constantly changing, and ABC is the first to show new products and product lines that will eventually arrive all over the country. Be aware that you will need to spend a couple hours to see everything, so take the elevator to the top floor and work your way down the stairs. If you only have half an hour, then visit the first and second floors. If you need a break and are hungry, try to get a reservation at the ABC Kitchen … it is tough to get a reservation, so you can also just walk a short distance North on Broadway to Eataly. Here is a little tidbit from my trip last week. More photos to come …
