Uvedale Road
This living room was updated with new furniture, wall paint and drapery panels. The owner requested three existing pieces to be incorporated into the space: the piano, oriental rug and a chair in a style similar to those from the Ming dynasty. I had the chair painted in a glossy black and upholstered it in a Robert Allen fabric (also made decorative pillows in the same fabric). The smaller-scaled furniture can be easily moved into various seating configurations. I sourced the Rivington chairs from Jayson Home, and the settee is from Crate and Barrel (no longer available). The walls are painted in a neutral Benjamin Moore Camouflage 2143-40. I had the drapery panels custom made by an Etsy shop. All photos by Betsy Maddox.
