If you are currently embarking on a kitchen renovation, you undoubtedly will have to choose your backsplash tile. There are so many choices, but what is timeless? Ask yourself, “what won’t go out of style before the contractors leave my house?” Let me just give you a hint … it is not glass tile. Glass tiles are already dated, and they were overused quickly. They are everywhere … Lowe’s, Home Depot, and the Tile Outlet. I know how tempting those little buggers are, but just. walk. away. Unless it is Bisazza tile (Italian glass tile that’s been around for centuries) and you live in a villa in Tuscany, it is already dated.
