Okay. I hate to break it to you, but do you really want your furniture to be all matchy-matchy?  Your answer should be a resounding, “No!” As the saying goes, “variety is the spice of life.” So, pretty puhlease resist the urge to walk into Ashley Furniture and order an entire bedroom set in 10 minutes. Let’s face it … it will look like you only took 10 minutes to design your bedroom. Your home design reveals your individual taste and style to others, so take your time to find pieces that reflect you (not Ashley Furniture). If you must have that bed from Ashley Furniture, at least purchase the nightstands from another retailer (preferably local and non-chain). Better yet, head to your favorite, neighborhood vintage resale furniture store (I like Revision Home and Divine Consign). If you really only have 10 minutes to make a decision that should take more than three hours, then hire a professional … they can source everything that reflects your taste and style.
